You’ve got constant steam, crazy temperature swings, and if your anti-fog heater decides to quit after five years, you&amp;rsquo;re usually stuck. Most of these things are built-in permanently, which means if one little heating tube burns out, you have to rip the entire mirror assembly off the wall. It&amp;rsquo;s a nightmare.&#xA;We decided that was stupid. So, we switched to a modular infrared setup.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Why infrared?&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Instead of those old-school resistive films, we use shortwave infrared elements. They hit the glass surface directly, which kills the condensation almost instantly.&#xA;But the real win is the chassis. We put the heating elements in their own modular housing, separate from the frame. This means you don&amp;rsquo;t have to tear apart your wall mount just to fix a dead tube.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Fixing it in minutes, not hours&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We went with a plug-and-play interface. If a tube fails, you just pop the module out and slide in a new one.&#xA;No soldering. No messing around with the main circuit.&#xA;We build these to handle heavy use for about five years, but parts eventually wear out. That&amp;rsquo;s just how physics works. The difference here is that when a filament snaps, you aren&amp;rsquo;t throwing away a perfectly good mirror. You&amp;rsquo;re just swapping a part.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The trade-off&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Nothing is perfect. Because we aren&amp;rsquo;t just gluing a thin film to the glass, these systems take up a bit more room. You lose a few millimeters of space behind the mirror to make room for the housings and connectors.&#xA;It&amp;rsquo;s a small price to pay to avoid a full renovation. We also make sure the housing is rated IPX4 or higher, because the last thing you want is moisture creeping into the connection points.&#xA;We designed this for the technician who just wants to get the job done. Swap the module, flip the switch, and you&amp;rsquo;ve got a clear mirror again. Simple.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
