By shaping these reflectors, we can concentrate the heat exactly where it needs to be. The Trade-off (And How to Handle It)
Now, these high-wattage quartz tubes put out a lot of power. When you crank up the heat to speed up your line, the housing takes a beating. You can’t just ignore the cooling side of things. If your airflow isn’t set up to pull heat away from the lamp ends and the electrical connectors, your filaments are going to burn out way too soon. It’s a headache nobody wants.
