The practical details
Halogen heaters shine as a primary or supplemental heat source in enclosed or semi-enclosed spots—sunrooms, covered patios, that kind of setup. They’re electric, so a standard outlet is all you need, but placement is everything. Aim the beam at seating areas and keep a safe clearance. The front of the unit does get warm, and the radiant pattern is line-of-sight, so positioning for even coverage matters. For the cleanest, most consistent feel, pair the heater with a thermostat.
